just read an artical about him when he was a young boy.

"my mum always joke at me during my sec sch days".said Micheal.

1 of his teacher told him that,you will never succeed.

Micheal Phelps came from a single parent family.his parents had divorce.

he had 2 sisters.also a swimmer.and they were also participant in BeiJing Olympic 2008.

he has highper-active.his teacher said he will never succeed,but his mother never lack of faith in him!

he is curious about everything.so sometimes,he can asked his mum about 100 question a day.

when Micheal was at the age of 11,his______coach teaches him swimming.

he said that Micheal is a noble swimmer.

but at the age of 15,Micheal break his first -record for swimming 2m butterfly.

his coach was so shock.

he got 6 golds and 2 bronze,in 2004.and he was just 19 yr old.now he has prove to his teacher that,he can succeed!
